This pass is one of 3 ways into and out of Livigno, the others being the tunnel to the north and the Forcola di Livigno to the west. From Livigno you pass over the Passo d’Eira before dropping down to the base of the Foscagno. A few miles of gentle climbing and a couple of gentle hairpins and you’re at the top. An equally gentle run down takes you to Valdidentro and on towards Bormio and the entrance to the Stelvio.
