Col de l’Arpettaz – 1,580m

 

Route: Via Route des Montagnes Ugine to Flumet - 22 miles

We only rode this twisty little out of the way Col because the main road between Ugine and Flumet - the D1212 - was shut for roadworks and we just followed the diversion signs and found ourselves on the road to it. It was so twisty that it actually took us a long time to get past a local Harley rider - oh the shame of it! It was pleasant enough but nothing to write home about and certainly not worth the detour.
