Welcome to BBOT.co.uk, a free online resource created by bikers for bikers. Where anyone wanting to tour through the Alps or the Pyrenees on a motorbike can find general touring information and read motorcycle tour reports.

 

BBOT - Bewdley Bikers on Tour - has been created by a group of motorcycle enthusiasts based in North Worcestershire. We ride mainly in Mid and North Wales - on road and off road - and it's our intention to post our local ride reports here, although to date we've only posted the reports from our European tours to Chamonix Mont-Blanc in the Western Alps, to Briancon in the Hautes-Alpes, to the Dolomites in Northern Italy, and to the Pyrenees and Andorra.

 

 

All the ride reports from our tours are easy to follow and include route information and have plenty of photographs. We've also included pass reports to all of the European mountain passes and roads over 1,000m that we've ridden.

 

These include Alpine passes in the Western Alps, Swiss Alps and Hautes-Alpes, Dolomite passes in Italy, Pyrenean roads in France, Spain and Andorra, and a couple of routes in the Vosges, in the Lorraine region of France.

 

 

 

In May 2010 we renewed the site and we're currently in the process of compiling and posting touring and general motorcycling information in the form of biking articles and a guide to motorcycle touring. The guide will offer a range of advice from planning a tour and preparing a bike, to what you need to take with you. And for links to accommodation we've booked, travel and hotel links, and motorcycle touring links take a look at our useful links page.

 

While BBOT has been created for our own amusement it's also is a good online resource that is free for anyone to use, whether you're considering touring mainland Europe on a motorbike, or currently planning a motorcycle tour there.
